Hello All,
The keyboard has a French design which makes it difficult to type full sentences before my computer time expires. We just arrived from an island for the weekend -- beautiful -- where we purchased fresh crab and went to the beach! I which all of you could see it. Please look for pictures. I hope we can send them soon. If not, you will see them when we return. Living here is different but very similar to our raising in the Mississippi Delta -- the South. The food is excellent. We have African dance and drumming twice a day. We will be very fit and dark --smile--upon returning to the States. The huts are very small here and some of the people live in very poor conditions. Our home, however, is very nice. We are treated very well by everyone inside and outside our living quarters. This is a Muslim Country. Therefore, we can not take pictures in public. It is against there law. All for now. I love you all very much. Tell DSU we are well and we miss them much. We patiently await the time to tell the story. Blessings....Julie Green

This sounds like an amazing place. I thought the trip would be a bit sketchy at first, since it is a somewhat poor region. However, from these posts I have gathered that West Africa is an intense place to visit. Stay active and in the sun, you ought to enjoy it while it lasts!
