Hello Everyone,
I am in an Internet cafe downtown Guinea. It is similar to the public Internet sites in America. I am learning to use the keyboard. Time is out more next time. Julie Green

Learning to use the keyboard? What is the difference? Are the characters of their language different from those here in America?
ReplyDeleteThe keyboard is a little different. The numbers on the top of the keyboard have different symbols and letters are rearraged. It takes a while to type because you are constantly searching for the correct letters. Also the computer pop ups and things are in French. Its hard to ask questions because most people working here do not speak English. I use alot of gestures
ReplyDeleteWe also have found some keyboards that look like American keyboards but are programmed like French keyboards, so the letters you type are not what appear on the screen! Those are the MOST frustrating to use! :)
ReplyDeleteJust a word to let you know you are being followed. I am facinated.
